Performs diagnostic sonographic and interventional procedures in
the department or on the units under the general supervision of the
Chief Imaging Technologist and with the assistance of a Physician
or a Senior Sonographer.
Requires a thorough knowledge of anatomy, physiology and pathology
as related to the position.
Requires a general knowledge of sonogram protocols in performing
High School diploma or equivalent including successful completion
of an approved curriculum in diagnostic sonography.
At least one (1) year of clinical experience in diagnostic medical
ultrasound (including time spent in an accredited diagnostic
medical sonography program).

Ability to use all necessary equipment to obtain and document a
