Position:
Reporting to the Sr. Dir. Supply Chain, the Warehouse Manager is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operations of the shipping and receiving activity as well as inventory accuracy for all warehouses & 3PL's. The Shipping and Warehouse Manager is also responsible for coordinating the activities of employees engaged in product handling, shipping, storage and transportation. This position also oversees Warehouse Associates. Essential Job Functions:

• Oversees every shipment leaving the facility on a daily basis. This includes e-commerce orders, distributor orders and media/marketing samples placed via internal purchase orders.
• Prioritize, organize, direct and supervise other employees with shipping products to the Company's wholesale and E-Commerce customers; donation recipients; press contacts, blog writers and any other recipients who might receive products as directed by the executive team.
• Work with Customer Service to answer customers' questions and concerns when it is related to delivery and product quality upon receiving their delivery. Resolve delivery issues or complaints; complete and process claim requests through the FedEx system.
• Coordinate with Production Managers to ensure there are adequate products to fulfill orders for the E-Commerce site and for Distributors. This includes but is not limited to: using Rapid Inventory to assess goods on hand; working with Production managers to get status updates on product readiness to be placed into crates or cases and entering data from the Packing Summary to Rapid Inventory.
• This position will be a part of the personnel responsible for monitoring the refrigerator, freezer appliances and other storage cooling containers located outside of the building.
• Accountable for perpetual cycle counts, finished goods QA hold & release process and overall inventory accuracy to support Sales inventory allocation process.
• Ensure products are stored properly in the freezer or refrigerated units provided; ensure products are placed in their correct cooling units (e.g freezer vs refrigerated unit).
• Monitor all cooling units, and perform regular maintenance. This includes but is not limited to: cooling mechanisms; ice build-up on walls and floors; general cleanliness of storage area and areas around the cooling units such as ramps, light switches and the inner entrance room to the Refrigerated Container #2.
• Ensure correct products are placed on pallets based on a Purchase Order; wrap and secure all built pallets for a Wholesale/ Distributor pick-up.
• Receive large orders (such as coconut oil, cashews and packing material) that arrive at the facility and ensure the delivered items are in good condition and are usable. Understand the Lot number system and accurately assign each inventory item with the proper number. Ensures receipt documentation & inventory put-a-way as well as updating inventory reporting to reflect activity.
• Maintain essential communication with Production Managers to ensure orders are fulfilled in a timely manner. Requirements:
  • 5+ years Warehouse-Distribution experience preferably in a Food Manufacturing environment.
  • Experience attending to details and developing custom to order fulfillment
  • Strong leadership, communication, customer service, and inter-personal skills.
  • Must be able to learn multiple concepts quickly and multitask on a regular basis.
  • Good PC skills in all Microsoft Office applications
