Job DescriptionPay: COMPANY $320 per day $1600-$1920 Per week Details: This account requires driver to unload palleted freight with a pallet jack at various grocery stores. The stores are located in NY, MD, and NJ. Work: 5 Set days per week, with 2 consecutive days off. Days off may be midweek. Based on needs the team may ask you to work a 6th work day based on freight volume. Shifts: 18:00-0:600 (position averages 12 hour shifts) Driver load and unload position utilizing an electric pallet jack. Driver can expect to dock 4-5 times a shift. Driver load at DC in multiple temp zones, and unload unattended at stores. reload any return pallets as needed, and unload those at DC. Reefer experience highly preferred. Need reliable team players willing to execute job duties in a highly professional manner. Must have reliable transportation to and from DC. Drivers required to wear and supply steel toe shoes/boots, high visibility vest/jacket, and take appropriate Covid precautions to include face mask (we will provide 1 vest and 1 mask in orientation). Drivers must be able to physically load and unload pallets with electric jack. There is a good deal of walking involved. Job is physically demanding. Driver needs to be very comfortable with confined and potential blindside backing. Drivers will also be required to remove and install bulkhead in the refrigerated trailers.
