Quality Control Analyst IV - VNext Phase Solutions and Services Inc. is hiring a Quality Control Analyst who is focused on operational excellence, enjoys troubleshooting complex issues, and is customer-obsessed.As a Quality Control Analyst, you will establish and document a tailored strategic quality plan in collaboration with the project manager, for the performance of quality assurance activities for an assigned project or task.Responsibilities* Provide guidance and support to programs/projects by developing and maintaining documentation and performing process and product evaluations to ensure alignment with client requirements, Next Phase policies and procedures, and industry best practices/standards (ISO, CMMI-DEV, CMMI-SVC, ITIL, PMBoK).* Report and present evaluation and audit findings to project management and team members verbally and through the preparation of written reports.* Perform root cause/lessons learned analysis and provide recommendations regarding possible approaches to resolving defects/non-compliances.* Gather, use, and independently analyze work product/document defect metrics data and present quality-related defect analysis findings to management and team members.* Track and escalate unresolved non-compliance issues and corrective and preventative action plans to closure. * Support Corporate QA initiatives as appropriate (i.e., CMMI Level 3 assessment, internal/external ISO audits, process asset library maintenance, etc.); may participate as a CMMI appraisal team member.* Provide training for CMMI, ISO, and Next Phase processes as well as project-specific process training. * Interface with external and internal customers to ensure project quality work products have been provided. Requirements* Ten (10) years of experience in Information Technology. * Seven (7) years of overall experience involving implementing organizational and program-specific processes and best practices; process and product evaluations (audits) to ensure compliance with company and project established policies, processes, procedures, and applicable standards (ISO, CMMI-DEV, CMMI-SVC, ITIL, PMBoK); and, implementing ISO 20000 and 27001, ISO 9001 2015, and CMMI-DEV/CMMI-SVC Maturity Level 3 frameworks. * Two (2) years of hands-on software development experience supporting Agile/SCRUM projects through product/deliverable reviews; process development; process improvement initiatives; and process training. * Hands-on experience as a project team member or real-life understanding of software development, support desk, and/or maintenance, and operation type projects (i.e., requirements analysis, testing, software development, help desk staff, etc.). * Excellent verbal communication and writing skills. * Ability to present quality status to senior management. * BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering. * Experience with CMMI 2.0 standard. (Preferred) * Healthcare IT experience. (Preferred) * Knowledge of Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS). (Preferred) * We are currently unable to sponsor Visa candidates.
