Manufacturing Analyst who will report to the Senior Metrics and
Manufacturing Manager and be accountable for supporting the
development, installation, and maintenance of improved global
systems for measuring, tracking, and publishing the manufacturing
metrics that drive opportunities for continuous improvement and
ensuring defined targets and deviations are visible. The
Manufacturing Analyst's goal is to support the COE with training,
data, and system analysis to improve Graces efforts in Safety,
Productivity, Maintenance, Reliability, and Quality. This role will
audit and ensure the systems are performing as designed and meeting
the needs of the supported groups. Responsibilities
- Provide data and options to support development of consensus in
defining the Manufacturing Metrics and information required to
enable Global to Unit manufacturing performance visibility
- Participate in the development, implementation, and training of
a system for capturing and analyzing manufacturing data to
calculate standard metrics indicating the health of the Business
down to the manufacturing unit.
- Participate in the data validation and processing for metric
score cards.
- Provide visibility, document mapping and training regarding
data and Metric calculations.
- Support in the rollout of the Maintenance and Reliability
software integration with SAP
- Assist in the design and development of new Manufacturing
metric reports.
- Provide training and support the implementation of the TapRoot
cause analysis programs.
- Provide training in use of the Metrics to Production to
identify issues before they become emergencies.
- Analyze Site performance data for risk trends or losses in
fidelity.
- Drive the use of data in developing strategic decisions by
ensuring clear and accurate manufacturing data is available at all
levels of need.
- Provide Finance and other asset teams with key manufacturing
data
- Performs data analysis to identify trends and enable
data-driven business decisions. Required Qualifications
- B.S. Degree in an Engineering discipline or related
- Minimum of 5 years of experience manufacturing environment
- Highly organized with ability to manage time, resources, and
people.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and metric
development
- Ability to convert raw data into usable information
- Strong analytical skills and ability to link complex
information and concepts ideas into actionable ideas that create
value for Grace.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation
skills to different levels/functions.
- Detail oriented and capable of managing and prioritizing
multiple tasks.
- Ability to learn quickly, take direction, and work
independently and to use creative, collaborative, and consultative
approaches to resolve issues.
- Advanced expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel,
PowerPoint, etc.). Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in technical Training, such as software
training.
- Experience in Productivity development, Finance, Process
engineering, or Production, engineering in a chemical manufacturing
environment"
