Operations Analyst - Action Officer - DoD - Aberdeen, MD -

an operations analyst/action officer to support the Operations
group of an Army Project Manager located at APG, MD. This position
will provide programmatic operations support to an O-6 Project
Manager, Deputy Project Manager, and Staff. General functions will
include task management, document control, calendar management,
meeting coordination and planning, event planning and other tasks
as required. Essential Job Functions: Monitor and synchronize PM
organizational activities/events. The events consist of but are not
limited to internal meetings, stakeholder engagements,
Distinguished Visitor (DV) events, and Integrated Product Team
meetings. Develop internal and external reports supporting the
Project Manager and Higher Headquarters. Notify Staff and Product
Manager (O-5 Level) Action Officers of taskings, collect
deliverables, generate reports, and record item progress and
completion. Collect products that prove task closure and provide to
the assigned Government office by close of business the day the
task is completed. Using information provided by the Government,
review prepared briefing charts and materials, read-ahead packages,
agendas, data books, briefing slides, program schedules for
accuracy and messaging. Briefings can include but are not limited
to budget, test, logistics, program management, and acquisition
decisions. Coordinate reviews and assist with comment adjudication
on staffed documents. Documents can include but are not limited to
Official Memorandums, Memorandums of Agreement / Understanding,
Technical / Logistics / Program Management / Budget Documentation.
Review and provide comments on document formatting and alignment to
AR 25-50. Utilize and maintain materials on a SharePoint system.
Provide updates to the existing PM Standard Operating Procedures
(SOPs) and prepare new SOPs. Required Skills: Due to the
sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is
required. HS degree and 16 years or Associates and 10 years or
Bachelors and 8 years or Masters and 6 years or more related
experience in an Acquisition or Army operations environment
relevant experience. Must possess a secret clearance. Experience
with JIRA and Confluence software. Must be able to interact with
customers and senior leadership. Must be experienced with MS Office
(especially PowerPoint and Outlook) and knowledgeable as a user of
SharePoint. Candidates must possess strong written and verbal
communication skills, be detail oriented, highly motivated, quick
learners, and able to function in a fast paced environment. Must
have understanding of new Army commands and chain of command, to
include ASA (ALT), the Futures Command and the Cross Functional
Team. Must have experience reviewing awards, appraisals, and other
documents. Must have excellent communications ability. Desired
Skills: Knowledge of Army PEO / ASA(ALT) structure and operating
practices. Knowledge of ASA(ALT) Task Management Tool (TMT).
