This role will provide onsite support at SGI's corporate office located in Hagerstown, MD. The Systems Maintenance Specialist will be the face of the IT team and will need to be able to represent the IT community in a clear, crisp fashion and manage relationships, conflicts and communication with a high level of efficiency and clarity. This role will serve as the initiating point of contact during the communication and coordination of any technology issues/incidents, requests and questions from the team. Also, this role will be proactive in working with the Executive Admins to ensure that the team and the site's IT needs are met in a timely fashion. ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Triage and management of IT support requests.
• Resolution of level 1 and level 2 help desk support issues related to network usage, systems and applications usage, systems and applications access, desktops, laptops, mobile devices, communication devices, teleconferencing equipment and software installation or update requests.
• Coordinates the prompt resolution for level 3 support requests, systems outages, and enterprise technology change requests.
• Manages procurement and deployment of mobile devices, computers, peripherals, and non-enterprise level application requests.
• Maintains system compatibility through the use of interoperability testing, change documentation, compatibility matrixes, knowledge base documentation, and evaluation of 3 rd party systems and software updates.
• Provide "White Glove" Concierge Service to Executive Leadership, designated contacts and other firm VIPs
• Serve as the hands on technology specialist for any senior management and be responsible for the relationship management, and technical expertise critical to the delivery of IT services to executive leadership
• Develop a reputation of IT leadership, as both a trusted subject matter expert in IT as well as a reliable partner in coordination of IT initiatives for the facility
• Communicate complex technical issues in business language
• Demonstrate ownership and manage incident resolution from end-to-end in a highly responsive manner. Must be able to escalate and provide visibility, as appropriate, to senior IT management.
• Assists IT staff in the evaluation and impact of potential IT projects.
