Primary Purpose
The Routing Analyst is responsible for creating, maintaining, and
supporting all branch-level routing within a region that assures
safety, efficiency, productivity, and quality standards.
Essential Functions
--- Manage daily routing functions for efficiency and
productivity
--- Address and collaborate with direct supervisor on re-route
needs based on [route] size, density, efficiency, and hours of
service
--- Assess the need for and adjust the Service Technicians' routes
daily to ensure each route maintains consistent hours of service
and productivity
--- Develop and maintain a supportive relationship with all branch
operations
--- Initiate communication and provide responses to local Ops teams
regarding route changes, concerns, opportunities, and development
needs associated with routing and/or productivity
--- Generate various productivity, profitability, and deviation
reports. Reports are delivered to required levels of management on
a designated basis
--- Review all reports /productivity metrics to identify
opportunities and communicate concerns with appropriate levels of
management
--- Provide coverage for routing of other areas across different
regions, as needed
--- Travel to branches, as needed
--- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
ADDITIONAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
--- Ability to multi-task and work independently while being safety
conscious
--- Possess strong organizational skills
--- Knowledge of routing, scheduling, and dispatching
--- Knowledge and understanding of map books
--- Strong knowledge of computer skills which would include
Microsoft Suite
--- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules,
operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
--- Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from
customers
--- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
--- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or
employees of the organization
--- Ability to perform intermediate mathematical calculations
--- Ability to apply concepts, and draw and interpret graphs of
various forms
--- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a few
variables in standardized situations
--- Ability to interpret and carry out a variety of instructions
furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form

Salary Range
$18.00 - $36.00 / hour
Pay Transparency Statement
At United Site Services, our salary ranges reflect the minimum and
maximum base pay for the posted position applicable to all
locations across the US. Within the posted salary range, individual
pay is determined by the geographic location, job related skills,
experience, education, and certifications. Our total compensation
package includes base pay plus a comprehensive benefits
program.
