Job Description:
AG Consulting Engineering, PC (AG), a design, engineering, and
construction management firm, located in New York City. We are
looking for several experienced Estimators to support our client on
the Key Bridge Rebuild Project.

Position: Estimators (Quantity Takeoff)
Location: Hanover, Maryland - position will be in the client
offices
Project: Bridge Construction
Overview:
Estimators will support our client in preparing and negotiating a
Lump Sum estimate for the Key Bridge Rebuild Project.
Responsibilities:
Review, analyze, and interpret Contract Documents (RFP,
specifications, etc.).
Perform all tasks related to quantity takeoff and pricing of
design-built projects in the infrastructure market.
Coordinate with estimators and engineers/designers to provide
constructability input and value engineering for preliminary
project plans.
Participate in Task Force Meetings, brainstorms, and working
sessions with estimators and engineers/designers.
Identify, quantify, and communicate Risk throughout the estimating
process.
Performing site visits and investigations as needed.
Qualifications:
Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related degree
preferred.
Broad knowledge and ability to understand project scheduling, cost
control, specifications, and engineering drawings.
5+ years of construction/engineering experience, specifically with
heavy civil infrastructure projects.
Knowledge of construction methods, costs, and techniques.
Knowledge of construction safety and current federal & OSHA
Requirements.
Experience with CADD and 3D Modeling software preferred.
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office products (e.g., Excel,
Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Posses strong mathematical and computer skills.
Must be able to meet deadlines.
Effective oral and written communication skills Candidates must
possess a strong work ethic.
Work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Good diligence with the ability to recognize discrepancies.
Must be willing to travel as the job requires.
