Senior HRIS Analyst

Job Description:

Reporting to the Director of Total Rewards, the Analyst, HRIS will be responsible for HRIS systems set up and maintenance, changes, testing and troubleshooting, process improvements, data integrity, systems security and year-end support. The Analyst, HRIS will aid in auditing changes within systems to insure proper controls and assist in recommending and establishing new controls. Responsibilities further include management reporting and data feeds in conjunction with IT and external vendors, as well as assisting in assigned HRIS related projects, as needed.RESPONSIBILITIES Coordinate with HR internal customers to analyze HRIS requirements and develop and implement various HRIS procedures and prepare customized reports. Design of custom ad hoc reports and resolve queries and ensure accuracy in same and prepare business documents and provide upgrades, if required and monitor HRIS systems and maintain integrity of all data. Assist in the designing and maintenance of codes and tables, prepare reports for HR systems and applications, and analyze systems to resolve any issues and escalate more complex and large scale issues to Sr. Manager of HRIS and Analytics to handle and resolve. Create test scenarios and assists project team members in performing tests to insure all processes work according to predetermined goals. Lead the testing and implementing of file feeds and interfaces for any add-on technology to our HRIS system, as needed. Manage in the execution and/or monitoring all scheduled import/export interfaces and files to third party vendors Assist in the execution of internal processes and perform audits in order to ensure integrity of all systems and collaborate with functional users to develop all business processes for various human resources systems and provide support to all associated activities. Assist in auditing and reviewing changes within HRIS systems to ensure proper controls and separation of duties and assist in establishing new controls, as needed. Aids in coordinating system and security administrator for multiple HRIS/Payroll related systems, as needed. Works with developing and conducting a robust training program, end-user support and assistance to HRIS users. Work with external vendor UltiPro and other service providers to insure the efficient, accurate, and timely exchange of information. Run queries/reports; analyze data, identify trends and prepare reports and presentations with rationale and conclusions. Provide supports to both the Finance and HR departments for projects and tasks, as required.LEADERSHIP QUALITIES Influencer Improve the performance of the business, from within your discipline. Exceptional Judgement business judgement, and common sense; a history of solid suggestions and decision; sought out by others for advice and counsel.QUALIFICATION STANDARDSEducation & Experience: 4-6 of experience within the HRIS and project arenas to include a proven ability to improve internal processes, and upgrade current technologies. Knowledge of HRIS, management reporting and payroll processes within an UltiPro environment strongly preferred General overall knowledge and experience within Finance or Human Resources (e.g. payroll, compensation, or benefits) with demonstrated ability to apply technical solutions to solve business problems in an effective manner, preferred. Strong organizational skills, project management experience, time management skills, excellent attention to detail, ability to maintain confidential information and ability to work well in a team environment Excellent spreadsheet, database, and presentation software skills Ability to interact effectively with all levels and operation units of the organization Attention to detail and ability to provide fast turnaround when needed In depth knowledge of UltiPro Core and other HCM modules Strong knowledge of IBM Cognos Business Intelligence report writing (i.e. report studio, query studio, dashboards, event studio, bursting) Working knowledge of both United States and Canada HR practices, benefits, and retirement programs, preferred Requirements Physical Requirements: Long hours sometimes required.Additional Requirements: Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly. Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure. Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary. Must have the ability to assemble complex information, data, etc., from disparate sources and consider, adjust or modify to meet the constraints of the particular need. Must be able to prioritize departmental functions in order to meet due dates and deadlines.
