Job Description:

-Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual production goals.
-Know the principal competition for each market segment and takes advantage of hotel's strengths against each competitor.
-Accurately forecast occupancy changes based on changing market conditions (additions to supply and demand, etc.).
-Manage revenue ensuring profitable contracting is strategically captured through revenue management and analysis
-Overcome all objections to close on business through an effective selling process and a complete understanding of the customers' needs and requests.
-Actively sell room nights through prospecting/solicitation calls, outside sales calls, telemarketing, site tours, etc.
-Actively sell to in-house guests (greeting tours, talking with guests at breakfast and evening reception to surface additional leads, etc.).
-Know the competition well. In addition, is familiar with all "business" in the market, where that "business" stays and why.
-Use the resources available by the Brand to surface, call on, and track potential business.
