Head of Sales, Investor Relations: Build Something Meaningful
Role Summary:
Lead CrowdStreet Advisors' internal sales team to grow our community of accredited investors, foster investor engagement, and drive digital sales campaigns, using a combination of scalable technology-enabled solutions and high-touch relationships. The sales team's primary role is to raise capital for private and registered real estate funds and separate accounts managed by CrowdStreet Advisors and support ongoing investor relationships.

The Head of Sales will lead and continue to build an existing team, collaborating with IR Service, Marketing, Investment Product and other cross-functional teams at CrowdStreet. This role will report directly into the President of CrowdStreet Advisors.

The Success You'll Build: Primary Responsibilities and Impact

Lead and expand a scalable "high touch" internal sales team to drive greater engagement and commitments to our funds and separate accounts
Continuously expand and deepen our relationships with current and prospective CrowdStreet investors and provide consultative sales through a range of activities including live and virtual investor events and outreach campaigns to generate greater interest in a robust pipeline of new funds and separate accounts
Partner with our Investment Product, Marketing and IR Service teams to drive increased investor engagement, conversion and service
Establish sales management tools, metrics and processes to develop effective sales plans, campaigns, targets and achievement, leveraging the CrowdStreet data warehouse and reporting tools
Finally, this role is above all things a leader of people. The successful candidate will bring exceptional strengths in leading and developing high-performing teams - being a thought partner to peers, an example and mentor to employees, and a developer of emerging talent that reinforces CrowdStreet's values every day

The Experiences That Will Help You Succeed:

15 years experience in direct investor relations, with at least 5+ years leading and managing investor relationships and internal/external sales teams for private funds, with at least two years at an investment manager or registered investment advisor
Demonstrated success leading a team to serve an extensive and growing community of high net worth clients and/or their financial advisors, with a track record of expanding customer relationships and high customer satisfaction
Experience identifying and managing innovative, scalable solutions to complex challenges to support CrowdStreet's mission to deliver the best online real estate investing experience and make it easy for investors to diversify their portfolios
History of embracing data and digital tools to develop and deploy sales and marketing campaigns that identify, target, and sell to a high volume of warm customer leads
Professional experience with alternative investment products, ideally private offerings (equity) in real estate, venture capital, or private equity
Outstanding leadership skills grounded in collaboration, teamwork, and respect.

The Competencies You'll Need:

FINRA Series 63/65 (or 66) required or must be obtained within 60 days.
Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, or economics preferred. MBA is desirable.
