Job DescriptionOverlay sales personnel providing specialist product expertise to the sales force.Partners with Account, Technology, and Application sales representatives to qualify and close new business on Oracle solutions. Provides specific industry or product expertise to facilitate the closing of deals within sales representatives territory. Interacts with sales team to architect the solution, and develop and execute solution strategies for market. Manages solution opportunities to obtain appropriate and necessary resources for all qualified opportunities. Leads teams in the sales process for establishing market visibility and deal visibility. Presents/demonstrates solution to high level clients and industry conference attendees. May provide training to field sales on industry/solutions. Builds and maintains a network and up to date specific industry or product knowledge.Acknowledged authority within the Corporation. Provides leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. 12 years applicable experience preferred. Subject matter expertise in industry/product space. Knowledge of key industry leaders and management. Knowledge of Oracle competition. Presentation and product demonstration experience. Previous consultative selling experience preferred. Excellent communication, negotiating, and closing skills with prospects and customers. Travel may be needed. Do you enjoy helping people leverage analytics services that enable organizations to become more efficient?Oracle is seeking an accomplished sales executive or business development leader to drive our analytics GTM across North America. The analytics sales specialist will work with Oracles rich portfolio of and data management products that allow our customers to derive better insights to their existing systems. In this role, you will closely partner with the Oracle sales team including accounts teams, solution architects, marketing and demand generation to execute the business plan across the North America geography. You will be responsible to create scalable sales motions, programs, and messaging that both simplify and synergize the sales message of this hyper-growth area of the Oracle portfolio. This will help our customers secure their systems and increase customer adoption of cloud technologies.Youll be responsible for developing the North American business plan and sales programs which will improve the security of our customers as they accelerate their transition to cloud technologies. Being able to synthesize and synergize complex security products into a broad array of use cases is key to being successful in this role. And you will closely interface with product development to help drive their product roadmap. As you will work closely with the sales teams, you may spend up to 25% of your time with customers and include travel.Basic Qualifications:

  • 7+ years in a sales or presales role selling analytics or cloud products
  • 4-year BA/BS, and it is likely in a technical area such as computer science, MIS or engineering.
  • Candidates with an MBA are preferred
  • Strong written and verbal skills
