ATS holds minority certifications in Delaware, Maryland, the District of Columbia, Pennsylvania and Virginia and is a Third-Party Certified Women Owned Small Business (WOSB)The Pre-Sales Solution Engineer partners with Sales to sell products and services by leveraging their strong technical skills, experience, and industry knowledge. Engineers engage in pre-sales activities by consulting on customer opportunities to gain an understanding of their business, identifying their business challenges, and developing solutions that meet their needs.------------Job Responsibilities

  • Pre-sales Activities including strategizing -with account managers -to improve sales, building - customer technical relationships, understanding nuances, and drivers, designing and architecting services and solutions, uncovering opportunities and recommending solutions, reviewing and demonstrating -product roadmap to customers and sales team, and providing content for RFP responses.
  • Act as technical SME for both sales and inside sales.
  • Design and support implementation of PoCs -to specific customer expectations.
  • Execute Go to Market strategy with sales and marketing, and 3rd party vendors
  • Assist with training and technical documentation as necessary. -Qualifications -
    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience is preferred
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Engineering, Pre-Sales Engineering or Technical Sales
    • Explicit -understanding of -data center solutions including network, servers and storage, management of enterprise solutions, -and hybrid/private cloud alternatives
    • Experience with network, security or storage assessments -is preferred
    • Ability to perform post-sales implementation activities, as necessary
    • Excellent problem resolution and consultative sales skills -Benefits
