Help us build and deliver innovative payment solutions. This role
can be based in either the United States or London. Summary Paysafe
is looking for a seasoned and visionary Business Development
Director to maintain and spearhead strategic growth in the
cryptocurrency exchange space. The ideal candidate will possess
extensive expertise in cryptocurrency and blockchain, coupled with
a strong history of driving business expansion and forging
high-impact strategic partnerships. Responsibilities Identify and
Pursue Opportunities: Identify new business opportunities in the
cryptocurrency sector and develop strategies to capitalize on them.
Strategic Partnerships: Establish and maintain relationships with
key industry stakeholders, including other exchanges, financial
institutions, and technology partners. Market Research: Conduct
market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive
landscape. Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, and
product teams to align business development strategies and ensure
cohesive execution. Deal Negotiation: Negotiate and close
partnership deals with potential clients and partners. Performance
Monitoring: Monitor and analyze the performance of business
development initiatives and adjust strategies as needed.
Representation: Represent the company at industry events and
conferences to promote our brand and expand our network.
Compliance: Work with legal and compliance teams to ensure all
partnerships adhere to regulatory requirements. Update the CRM
system to track leads and identify solid business opportunities.
Attend industry events and networking conferences. Candidate
Requirements Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study
(Business Administration, Commerce, Economics) or equivalent
combination of relevant education and experience in lieu of degree,
required. 5 years of relevant sales and business development
experience, required. 2 years success in cryptocurrency sales
environment, required. Specialty in crypto exchange, highly
desirable. Proven track record in generating new business and in
exceeding your sales targets Solid vision for growing sales targets
and possess a clear understanding of the competitive landscape Will
need to have the ability to strategically select potential clients,
focussing on maintaining multiple sourcing alternatives to ensure a
continuous pipeline of potential prospects for new business and
