Job Description Job Description Before Applying: Direct Support Professional MUST be able to work all of the hours HOURS FOR THIS POSITION: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 9AM - 2:30PM | Sunday 10AM - 7:00PM Benefits/Perks - Career Enhancing Training - Competitive Compensation - Employee referral bonus Job Summary HOURS FOR THIS POSITION: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 9AM - 2:30PM | Sunday 10AM - 7:00PM MUST HAVE A CAR, MUST BE RELIABLE We are looking for a capable Direct Support Professional (DSP) to assist for our wonderful Individual with developmental disabilities by enhancing their quality of life. Responsibilities - Assist with personal hygiene needs and dressing - Assist with mobility, walking, and physical therapy exercises - Promoting independence in daily activities, such as work, learning, and leisure. - Facilitate the individual's inclusion in the community's experiences and activities. - Maintaining knowledge of individual's requirements. - Complying with the Agency's policies and procedures. - Maintaining documentation in compliance with the Agency's procedures - Additional duties upon request Qualifications - Previous experience in a DSP or similar role. - High School Diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent - CPR, and first aid certification. - Completion of provided Agency training - Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation and valid vehicle insurance as specified by the MD - Ability to adhere to all health and safety guidelines - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to stand proactively and physically support the individual - Capable of using, smart phone capable - Compassionate, respectful, ethical, honest - Must be able to pass background check and drug screening
