Vice President for Institutional Advancement (VPIA). This is an

2,000 students enrolled in undergraduate and graduate programs,
Curry College offers more than 90 academic paths across the liberal
arts and professional disciplines. The College is renowned for its

such as the Program for Advancement of Learning (PAL) and the
Social Achievement in Learning (SAIL) highlight Curry's leadership

Jay Gonzalez, a seasoned public and private sector leader and
Curry's first Hispanic president, the VPIA will join a
forward-looking leadership team at a pivotal moment. This leader
will serve on the President's Executive Team and play a central
role in executing the College's mission through strategic
philanthropy, alumni engagement, and external partnership
development.ResponsibilitiesThe VPIA will lead the strategy and
execution of all fundraising and alumni engagement activities,
aligning efforts with Curry's institutional priorities. This
includes managing a portfolio of major donors, expanding the
College's contributed revenue, strengthening alumni participation,
and supporting a potential comprehensive campaign. The VPIA will
serve as a close partner to the President, Trustees, and academic
leadership, helping to identify and pursue philanthropic
opportunities across the College, including grants, corporate and
foundation support, and donor stewardship. The VPIA will bring
best-in-class practices to increase contributed revenue, engage
alumni, and support a comprehensive fundraising campaign aligned
with Curry's strategic priorities.In addition, the VPIA will
oversee a growing Institutional Advancement team, building a
culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation. They will
guide infrastructure development, ensure strong operational
systems, and promote an inclusive and donor-centered approach to
advancement. As a visible ambassador for the College, the VPIA will
represent Curry regionally and nationally, cultivating new
relationships and deepening alumni and community
engagement.QualificationsWhile Curry College will consider a broad
range of backgrounds, the ideal candidate will have the following
qualifications/experience:--- 10+ years of progressive fundraising
experience with a proven track record in major gifts, campaigns,
and team leadership.--- Expertise in individual giving,
institutional support, donor relations, and fundraising
operations.--- Experience managing a high-performing team and
creating a collaborative, mission-driven culture.--- Demonstrated
ability to work with senior leadership, Boards, and external
stakeholders.--- Familiarity with higher education or similarly
complex nonprofit environments is preferred.--- A commitment to
diversity, equity, and inclusion in all facets of advancement
work.--- Strong communication skills, high emotional intelligence,
and a results-oriented mindset.--- Comfort navigating change,
thinking strategically, and building infrastructure for long-term
success.Salary & BenefitsSalary is competitive and commensurate
with experience. The range for this role is $200,000-$240,000, plus
