and Florida. Job Description:Develop and maintain product
inspection standards for critical components and materialsEstablish
and implement methods to inspect, test, and evaluate inbound
materials per defined inspection standardsCollaborate with
corporate supply chain to establish supplier quality scorecards to
improve awareness and on time deliveriesDevelop and sustain a
program that validates the quality of new suppliers prior to
purchasing production-ready components, including first article
inspection procedures and production part approval
processesMaintain a continuous improvement mentality with focus on
Kaizen (small change for the better)Assist to develop and implement
quality assurance and quality control procedures for all
facilitiesAssist in developing and managing a training program for
all plant new hires (operators and engineers) and retraining for
all existing staff using LMSAssist in managing an audit program
across all plants by performing audits, delivering detailed reports
with findings from company-wide audits, and validate follow-up
actions for both.Additional tasks on an as needed basis as defined
by the director of qualityReport directly to the Director of
QualityJob Requirements:0-10 yrs experience4-year technical degree,
in an electrical, electronics or mechanically oriented
curriculumSupplier quality experience needed with experience in
purchasing,vendor and inventoryInternship/co-op experience is
preferredElectrical skills and experience neededAutoCAD or similar
software a mustMulti-tasking, problem solving and strong
communication skills a mustTravel up to 25% to all facilities to
validate procedures and implement projects as neededStrong desire
to please the customer with perfect product quality and to maintain
